The whole world is a lung when you have an exoskeleton. Every breath, every pulse of the abdomen, is an experience. This must be why insect lives are so short. The raw intensity of living with such sharpened senses exhausts. But also, as an asthma-haver, this sounds like an appealing trade off. A shorter life but every breath is a deep breath.
In other news, I just found out Lindsey Graham is dead! I'm saving a bottle of champagne to celebrate when Mitch McConnell finally kicks it (hopefully soon!), but today is a good day! What do we call the opposite of a toast? A curse, but they're already dead? A damnation? A besmirching? Besmirch away, fellow freaks! They all gotta die someday!
