Cal's new home on the internet
I'm slowly learning to code in order to build a place on the internet that feels like a habitat for me. I've had a newsletter for more than five years now, and while it's allowed me to connect with readers, I find everything from the format to the social platform to the company that props it all up repugnant. I've been itching to return to more traditional blogging on my own website, where I don't track traffic or "restacks" or likes, and I simply write whatever is on my mind in the present moment. So that's what this is.
My newsletter is Sex Weather Climate Death on Substack, if you're looking for that. I send it out less than once a month. If you want to know about upcoming readings and new publications, you can sign up for it.
